Mechanical Supervisor – Rotating Equipment
Industry: Oil and Gas
Expertise Needed: Commissioning
Work Location: Iraq
Rotation: 60 days on 15 days off
Remuneration: $6K – 6.5K per month (paid monthly, when on and off) + Site accommodation + Transport + Rotational Flights + Medical Insurance + Food + Laundry
Required Profile:
10+ years experience in a Mechanical commissioning role within the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years experience at Supervisor level.
Work experience during the Precommissioning and Commissioning / Start-up phases of projects.
Responsible for the rotating and static commissioning activities.
Close out of mechanical and piping Punch points.
Ensure safety on site is in conformity with Project procedures.
Perform technical tasks assigned by Project Commissioning Lead, related to the preparation and execution of the commissioning, and start up activities.
Participate in the planning, scheduling & execution activities.
Review of the commissioning operational test procedures
Input for the commissioning spares and consumables list.
Review (prepare) the first fill / lubrication list.

Experience Profile
- 5+ years experience as an Electrical & Instrument Technician with expertise during the Precommissioning and Commissioning / Start-up phases of the project
- Knowledge of Fire and Gas, PAGA and CCTV
- Calibration, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting for all types of field instrument.
- Inspect and test operation of instruments.
- Knowledge for commissioning various types of flow meters including Ultrasonic, Mass Flow and Turbine.
- Knowledge of LV electrical systems and electrical function testing during commissioning
- Field experience with Cause and Effect checks of ESD, F&G and PAGA systems
- Field experience with commissioning of various types of analysers.
- Ability to remove and replace defective parts
- Inspect, commission, maintain and troubleshoot control instrumentation and fire & gas equipment
